As a creative, an artist and someone who has never known the quiet of a single culture or a single home or a single language money is a constant struggle for me.
I have been homeless.
I have been "getting by".
But I've never known what it is to HAVE money you know?
Or even financial security/stability like if some great aunt you never knews leaves you a buttload of money or something.
That constant insecurity comes with a special kind of brain demon.
Being one concert away from losing your apartment or dumpster-diving.
Or not paying rent for months in a row (I'm lucky my partner believes in me and sees the ups when I don't).
"Someday I'll have a home of my own and from then on out it'll be smooth sailing" I always think to myself.
We'll see.
But for now I remain a "Man with No Money".
